Moderated by Sarah Lefebvre (MediaViz). This session moves beyond hype and fear to explore how the industry can actively shape responsible, sustainable AI adoption at a scale and level of consistency not possible through manual processes alone.
Introduction from Luzia Strohmayer-Nacif (APA). Clemens Prerovsky shares how APA-Tech transformed a 50-million-image archive into a semantically searchable system using AI, while highlighting the challenges of making it production-ready and the importance of data sovereignty.

C2PA Technical Updates: An update on the new C2PA specifications and how Google is integrating these signals on both the back end and front end. A Holistic View of Content Trustworthiness: A broader look at how Google is helping users determine content trust, including Product experiences focused on asserted provenance signals like C2PA and SynthID.
Presented by Gilles Devicq (CEPIC). This keynote explores the evolving landscape of AI licensing across the creative industries. It will examine emerging deal structures, the legal and regulatory frameworks shaping them, and the lessons learned from global litigation to date. Attendees will gain practical insights into how AI licensing is developing, the challenges creators and companies face, and the opportunities for collaboration and innovation in this rapidly changing space.
Moderated by: Valérie Théveniaud-Violette (CEPIC). Copyright infringement has long been an existential problem for authors and distributors. This panel examines whether traditional concepts of image theft are still relevant in the age of generative AI, whether tools for tracking infringements benefit from the contribution of AI, and whether these tools could help authors assert their rights by identifying training uses.

Introduction from Sylvie Fodor (CEPIC). This session will look at how cultural heritage assets can be digitised and reused responsibly, using the JPEG Trust ISO/IEC standards framework as a practical lens for exploring how authenticity, trust and long-term reusability can be safeguarded.
PUBLIC CONFERENCE. Introduction from Sylvie Fodor (CEPIC). A keynote on EU regulations shaping media, creative industries, and AI, covering legislative updates, compliance, and their impact on content production, licensing, and AI workflows.

PUBLIC CONFERENCE: Introduction from Gilles Devicq (CEPIC). A discussion on media–platform dynamics, the growing landscape of misinformation, and emerging solutions such as media literacy, fact-checking frameworks, standards, and the Journalism Trust Initiative.

PUBLIC INTERVIEW: Paris Match, the leading magazine in France for news reporting, photojournalism, and celebrity coverage will present its vision and policy on fact and source verification. How does Paris Match approach fact-checking and source verification in its blend of serious coverage with striking images?

PUBLIC CONFERENCE: Introduction from Paul Seheult (PICSEL / BAPLA). Drawing on Roger-Viollet’s historical collections, this session examines media and information literacy through image verification, authenticity, copyright, and how visual narratives influence our understanding of images.
