Max Wieberneit is CEO of picturemaxx AG, a market-leading software and technology company headquartered in Munich. He has more than 25 years of management experience in the media and technology sectors. Before entering the picture industry, he began his career as a business consultant at a Big Four auditing firm. In 2001, he joined the picture agency Zefa Visual Media as Managing Director and CFO. Between 2001 and 2004, he expanded the company’s European business and subsequently led the sale of the company to Corbis, the world’s second-largest picture agency. During the following six years at Corbis, he held several leadership roles, including Managing Director and Sales Director for Germany and Austria, and contributed to the global implementation of strategic initiatives. Over the past 15 years, Max has focused on building and scaling mid-sized technology companies with business models based on machine learning and artificial intelligence. As a consultant and managing director, he has driven the strategic development and expansion of companies in the PropTech and EduTech sectors as well as in the services sector. Since May 2024, he has been leading picturemaxx AG, continuing the company’s success story with a focus on transformation, strong customer focus, and artificial intelligence as a key driver of value creation and innovation.
