The International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents its compliments and has the honor to invite Members and Observers the launch of the 2026 edition of the World Intellectual Property Report (WIPR) on “Technology on the Move”, which will be held at WIPO headquarters in Geneva, on February 17, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (CET), in hybrid format.
Through its WIPR series, WIPO aims to contribute to evidence-based policy-making. WIPO’sAssistant Director General for the IP and Innovation Ecosystems Sector will open the launch event, and the report will be introduced by WIPO’s Chief Economist. Against the background of the report, a panel of experts will discuss how policymakers can facilitate technology diffusion and encourage innovation-led growth.
