Winners of the 3rd CEPIC Stock Photography Awards

The winning entries of the 3rd CEPIC Stock Photography Awards were announced last night - 17 June 2017- at CEPIC Annual Indsutry in Berlin. 

This year 1660 images were submitted for judging, made by 555 photographers from 88 countries. Winners in five categories were announced, including Cities, buildings, Creative and abstract, Lifestyle and released people, Nature, Science and Landscape 16 images, the Arts, culture and retro.

The purpose of the CEPIC Stock Photography Awards is to support traditional stock photography and defend the right of photographers.

    President of the Professional Photographer’s Association of Spain (AFPE) American (native New Yorker) freelance photographer for more than 25 years based in Barcelona, Spain. Specialized in architecture, interiors, hotel, portrait and travel photography working for clients in Europe, Africa, Middle East and United States in the luxury hotel industry. As well as in the past prestegious U.S. Publications: Newsweek, The New York Times,Sports ilustrated, Business Week. www.michelecurel.com
  • Tm Lund
    Tim Lund is owner and Managing Director of Ikon Images a specialist agency representing the work of leading artists and illustrators. This follows a long career in photography having been Creative Director at Visual Communications Group in London, Creative Director at Digital Vision, Director of Photography at Getty Images and Director in charge of Creative Production at Masterfile. Tim has run creative teams in London, Munich, New York, Paris, Sydney and Tokyo.
  • Keren Sachs
    Keren Sachs has spent her career working across the photo industry. Today, she advises both companies and artists around the world, helping them to create and monetize content. Previously, Keren was the Director of Content Development for Shutterstock, where she led the acquisition and curatorial direction for Offset. Keren began her career as Photo Editor for National Geographic Kids, and went on to work for The Wall Street Journal, Corbis, Williams-Sonoma, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Keren regularly speaks on the value of authentic imagery to establish a brand’s voice.
  • Stefanie Lueken
    Head of Photo Buying Germany at Bauer Media Group. Bauer Media Group is one of the world’s most successful media corporations. Apart from more than 400 digital products and over 100 radio and TV stations, Bauer Media Group publishes over 600 magazines across the globe. As former photographer, picture editor, head of editorial departments at two picture agencies and head of syndication department at another publishing house, Stefanie Lueken brings her in-depth knowledge of the international picture industry and experience in the field to the jury.
  • Irene Baumann
    is heading mauritius images‘ Art Department as Art Director. Starting as a trainee in 2006, she has become acquainted with the stock agency business from scratch. Following her traineeship, Irene has been working for five years as Content Manager with international partner agencies. In 2015, she was announced Art Director of mauritius images, known as one of Germany’s leading stock agencies offering high-quality and exclusive imagery. Her excellent skills are shown by mauritius images‘ premium collection “Choice“, which she has been gathering with her team.
