Today is my first day as a digital investigation reporter at Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Seoul, where I will be covering misinformation in South Korea, tracking and verifying false narratives. The past few months have been devastating for the journalism industry, including for my friends and hundreds of former colleagues at the Post. I’ve continued to reckon with these changes and the evolving news landscape, including how journalists can use artificial intelligence while combatting global disinformation. This work feels more important than ever, and I’m eager to learn about how AI is shaping narratives and the dissemination of information in Korea, specifically. Read here ...

Today marks my final day at Shutterstock. It's been an absolute privilege to work out of one of the most iconic buildings in the world, and before I log off, I'm taking a moment to appreciate the view and reflect on everything we’ve accomplished over the last 2 years. I joined in May 2024 as the VP of Content Strategy and am ending my tenure as the VP of our Global Content Platform. I’m incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished in my time here. From scaling ingestion pipelines and modernizing eval workflows, to supporting the launch of new business lines, celebrating the 1st-ever Shutterstock Impact Awards, leading our C2PA initiatives, and so much more.To my incredible team and partners: thank you. Building alongside you has been a wonderful experience and I will miss working with all of you!As for my next step, I’ll be taking a very short reset over the weekend, and then diving right back in. Stay tuned for updates!

Delighted to start as VP, Global Growth for PIXRAY. A privilege to be working alongside Dennis Wetzig and joining his fantastic team at this exciting point in their journey. I've been a longtime admirer of the work this business does in helping rights holders protect their copyright in the digital world and I can't wait to see what great work we can do together in the future.

I’ve taken the difficult decision to move on from Alamy after just over 21 years. After giving it much thought and consideration over the last few months, I’ve decided to take up another opportunity and move on with the end of this week being my final week at Alamy. I leave on a hugely positive note having spent such a long time here. I genuinely still believe in Alamy and think its strategy and plans for the future are exciting and well placed. This was purely a personal decision on my part for a fresh challenge. I've worked with so many good people over the years and there are far too many to mention specifically, but you know who you are. Inside and outside of my immediate colleagues I've made some incredible connections and friends for life, all of which I'm truly grateful for. I’ll still be very much involved in the industry and hope to cross paths with you again very soon - details to follow in the coming weeks!
