We have called an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) for all CEPIC members on October 13th this year, as it will be two years since the previous board was elected and it’s time for fresh nominations.
It’s also been two years since I was elected as President. Two years that have flown by, as we have been busy rebranding CEPIC and launching a new website, organising our two most successful events to date and of course lobbying week in week out in Brussels and beyond around generative AI.
Midway through my tenure as President, I also took on a new day job as CEO of PA Media Group. This means I’ve not been able to devote as much time as I would like to CEPIC and the heavy lifting has been done by Vice President Gilles Devicq (and of course, Sylvie). That’s why I’ve decided to step down from my CEPIC role in October and will be giving my endorsement to Gilles as a candidate to step up to President and continue his good work.
If you’d like to get involved in CEPIC at this crucial time, please do nominate yourself or a colleague for the board elections. I have learned so much, developed so many new skills, increased the size of my network and helped to secure the interests of our industry by taking part, and I would encourage everyone to do the same.
Nominations for board positions must be sent to president@cepic.org by 15th September 2025 date.
Please also attend the EGM and cast your vote. This is your organisation and you should have your say. Thank you for your support over the past two years, and I will, of course, remain a friend of CEPIC indefinitely.
Emily Shelley, CEPIC President
