Arévalo, President & CEO of EPAImages. “It’s how I started, learning with and from other journalists. I’m proud that EPAImages is now offering the same kind of opportunity to the next generation of visual journalists.”

Launching the EPA Academy is a natural step for EPA Images, leveraging the deep expertise of its global network of professionals to expand into high-level training and education. For more information on the programme, including application details, visit https://epaimages.com/epa-academy.

About EPA Images:

The European Pressphoto Agency B.V. (rebranded as EPA Images) was founded following an agreement signed in November 1984 by seven European news agencies in November 1984, who shared the goal of creating an independent, high-quality photo service for the European media market. In 2003, EPA Images expanded its services to the global market, launching international operations. In 2014, it introduced a global video service, further strengthening its multimedia capabilities. Today, EPA Images delivers comprehensive photo and video coverage through a worldwide network of visual journalists and the daily production of its member agencies - ANA-MPA, ANP, ANSA, EFE, KEYSTONE, LUSA, MIT, and PAP - all market leaders in their respective countries.

The EPA Academy is aimed at the next generation of photojournalists, offering a hands-on training program to prepare them for professional assignments on the international stage. Symbolic Image, EPA/Julien Warnand
