Concerns that the latest Council Presidency proposals won't create a balanced market for creators
CEPIC joins open letter that highlights concerns with the new Council Presidency proposals. Below is the letter that was sent to Deputy Permanent Representatives, copyright experts of the working group as well as key people from DG CNNCT (C. Bury, G. Abbamonte, M. Giorello), Cabinets (Jorgen Gren, Eric Peters and Manuel Mateo) and Pauline Rouch from the EC Secretariat General. It highlights the main causes of concerns, in hopes that the ambassador we recognize them and alters them to create a balanced market for creators.
CEPIC attends Open Internet Project conference in Brussels
On the 15th of May CEPIC will be in Brussels taking part in the Open Internet Project (OIP) conference. We will be talking on the seminar “In the aftermath of the Google Search decision: fair and equal treatment for digital business”.
