Sylvie began her career in the image industry at AKG-Images in Berlin, when Justus Göpel was CEPIC's first president. She has therefore been involved in the development of the organisation from the outset, for several years as congress manager and then from 2009 in public affairs activities in Brussels in the areas of authors rights, platform liability, image rights, and ethical AI. She is passionate about defending the interests and values of the visual sector in the digital economy. She now works from the CEPIC virtual office, mostly in Berlin and Brussels.
