Sylvie Fodor has been closely involved with CEPIC since its early years and plays a key role in representing the organisation and its members at European level. She began her career in the image industry at AKG-Images in Berlin, at a time when Justus Göpel served as CEPIC’s first president, and has been involved in the organisation’s development from the outset. After several years as CEPIC’s Congress Manager, Sylvie has been active in public affairs since 2009, working primarily in Brussels on issues including authors’ rights, platform liability, image rights, and, more recently, ethical artificial intelligence. She regularly attends high-level EU meetings and events, advocating for the interests and values of the visual media sector. Sylvie currently works from CEPIC’s virtual office, dividing her time mainly between Berlin and Brussels.
