We were delighted to welcome representatives from across our National Associations and Associate Members, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to participate in the discussions and voting. Your continued trust and engagement are invaluable as we continue to represent and support the visual media licensing industry.
During the meeting, members received an update on CEPIC's activities throughout 2025 and our current financial position. We also presented proposed amendments to the CEPIC Statutes, reflecting the continued evolution of our industry, before looking back at the success of CEPIC 2026 in Valencia and sharing some of the key themes emerging from delegate feedback.
The proposed CEPIC AISBL amendments are meant to modernise the structure of the Board with directors representing Full members, Associate members as wells as an Expert Directors category. The size of the Board is limited to 10 directors. Amendments also simplify the voting system with one vote for Full Members weighted two and one vote for Associate Members weighted one. The changes clarify the powers of the Board, the procedures for its election and replacement, the role of observers and the adoption of Internal Regulations.
Memo on and proposal of changes to the Statutes
As highlighted during the meeting, CEPIC continues to be actively engaged across a wide range of policy, advocacy and industry initiatives, with several important projects already underway. We will share further updates with members as this work progresses.
Planning for CEPIC 2027 in Juan-les-Pins has also begun. If you attended this year's event and have not yet completed the feedback survey, we would still love to hear from you. Every suggestion helps us create an even stronger event for 2027.
Our next member event takes place on 9 July, when we welcome Cindy Han, CEO of Trufo, for the first webinar in CEPIC's 2026 Summer Webinar Series.
The session will explore the practical implications of the EU AI Act, Article 50 transparency requirements, and why C2PA is emerging as the leading framework for AI content provenance and compliance.
As a reminder, CEPIC Members receive complimentary access to all webinars in the series. If you haven't already registered, you can do so via our Eventbrite page.
Thank you once again for your continued support. We look forward to working with you throughout the year and welcoming many of you to Juan-les-Pins in 2027.
