Kim Taylor scoops top award

Nature Picture Library photographer Kim Taylor has won the Grand Prize in the 2011 Share the View photo competition organised by the Audubon Society of Greater Denver in the USA, from more than 1600 entries.
Kim's picture of a long-eared bat drinking from a Surrey lily pond scooped the top prize, while 8 more of his images were amongst those commended, demonstrating his expertise in micro, macro and high-speed photography.
More than 2000 of Kim's finest images can be viewed on our site, capturing an amazing range of animal behaviour and revealing extraordinary creatures both in action and in close-up.
