International Year of Biodiversity Photo and Video Contest
In celebration of the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity, the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) invites you to participate in our International Year of Biodiversity Photo and Video Contest.
Please join us to help educate the world on the value and importance of biodiversity and promote sustainable livelihoods for plants and animals in our global environment. All you need to do is submit a compelling Web video or photograph that you think best captures biodiversity.
Photo and video submissions will be featured on the GEF website. Submissions will be judged by a panel of experts in photography and biodiversity. Winners will receive great prizes and have their photo or video displayed at the Convention of Biological Diversity Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties in Nagoya, Japan from October 18, 2010 to October 29, 2010.
