BVPA committee announces new Executive Director
On January 1st, 2011, the Berlin based barrister Alexander Koch will take over Bernd Weise's position as Executive Director of the German Association of Picture Agencies (BVPA).
It is just two months ago that Bernd Weise announced his withdrawal after 21 years of work. His successor is an experienced lawyer with extensive knowledge of the picture industry and its market. In 2003, he published a handbook on image rights. The BVPA committee is happy to welcome a professional expert of the picture industry as new Executive Director. Alexander Koch: "I am happy to join the BVPA with great energy, vigour and new ideas."
- Alexander Koch as well as all BVPA committee members will attend the Frankfurt Book Fair 2010 taking place from 6 - 10 October. You can meet them at the "Centre for Photography & Illustrations" (Hall 4.1)
