New Board at BLF

BLF, the Swedish picture suppliers association, has elected a new board.

A unique achievement to lead a trade association of 36 years. After 36 years as chairman of the BLF Rune Borgstrom, 62, resigns from his post. It is a unique achievement to lead a trade organization for so many years. He leaves behind an organization "with a secure economy and the highest member rate in the association's history."

Rune Borgstrom was only 22 years old when he was elected to the BLF
Board. The first year he was a member, then three years as secretary. At age 26 he was elected President.

The new chairman of the BLF have their annual meeting elected Johan
Främst, 43. Johan has been the association's treasurer since 2003. He has been in the imaging industry nearly 30 years, worked most of the newspaper industry as a photographer and picture editor.

Has also worked as a photographer in the TV industry, in outside broadcasting. He is now co-owner of the photo agency Kamerapress in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Only four of the President of BLF's 58 year history

The Swedish Picture Suppliers Association was formed in 1950 and has
over 58 years only had four-President:

1950 - 1956: Harald Althin
1957 - 1969: Nils Sallstedt
1970 - 1973: Stig Yngve
1974 - 2009: Rune Borgstrom - appointed Honorary President
