SEKOOA solutions joins CEPIC as a new affiliate

Sekooa Solutions’ mission is to research and develop innovative solutions for managing visual contents on the web with two objectives: to boost content management productivity and to improve services delivered to end users.
Recognized at the SCS Cluster’s 2010 NITC awards, Sekooa Solutions is a start-up that has developed several innovative technologies such as : PICS TUBE for linking up content suppliers to distributor websites instantly, PICS TRANSLATE for translating KW queries, KWs and captions into main languages on the fly, PICS LIKE for finding duplicates and quasi-duplicates and creating clusters of visually close images, PICS AUDIT for monitoring image ranking on over 300 distributor websites. Sekooa’s US branch has launched Oseeris.com, a brand new web portal that allows image searchers and buyers to search through 350 different stock image libraries in one click.
Sekooa Solutions makes available its technologies to its customers as APIs or web services (SaaS mode) to allow easy integration into third-party applications.
By extension, its scope of activities naturally includes development of special web and iPad business applications incorporating its proprietary technologies in combination, while needed, with DIAMS its fully integrated image bank management software.
Sekooa Solutions is based in the Sophia Antipolis French Hi-Tech park. It is led by a team of 3 partners - Constantin Haidamous, director of R&D, Marc Aubé, database and HMI engineer, and Laurent Di Costanzo, entrepreneur -, each of whom has a career of more than 10 years in IT technologies specializing in image and communication.
