CYBERFOTO 2012
The purpose of this contest is to promote digital photography as an art with a particular culture-producing meaning and to show the possibilities of digital creations of photographic images. It is the largest contest of its type in Poland with over 1000 photos flowing in from all over the world.
A catalogue in Polish and English is issued from an open-air exhibition.
Works sent to the contest stress the relations that occur in the art of world imagery, which is being continuously evolved towards the creation of certain visions based on advanced image recording technologies. The ambition of this contest’s message is to maintain the bond with the modern quality of visual culture that is also forming our national identity.
Every year the exhibition is accompanied by a seminar devoted to the relations between art and technology.
