Congress 2010 is over and we hope that you will all agree that it was a terrific success! With almost 700 people meeting from across the industry worldwide to network, learn, exchange ideas and look forward to the future, Dublin 2010 was the only place to be!
We have had such positive response from every one of you and cannot thank you enough for making the journey to Dublin. We have covered a great deal over the last 7 days, starting with our AGM on Tuesday, followed by the inaugural New Media Day, our Opening Reception, the visit from the Irish Minister TD Mary Harney and Lord Watson of Richmond; terrific panels on Photojournalism, the Mass Digitisation of our cultural heritage, to the Power of the Picture to How to get Funding to Initiatives in the Online Space, New Business Opportunities and Ben Edelman’s invaluable presentation on Online Threats to the very first Industry Roundtable attended by the heads of all the Trade Bodies as well as the leaders of all the top agencies worldwide not to mention our social programme that included Golf, Horse Racing, Aviva Stadium tours, VIP Drinks at the Rotunda, a literary tour and of course the Annual Industry Party at the Guinness Storehouse - CEPIC 2010 excited and inspired, it delivered a fresh perspective and gave us all an opportunity to reinvigorate and refresh, exchange ideas and also have lots of fun!
We have so many people to thank, including all our sponsors as well as Jerry Kennelly giving us the daily gossip in CEPIC News. You can check out all the pictures and photographs from this special week here. Thank you to our brilliant photographers Rene Fluger, Petr Mlch and Martin Sterba from CTK Photobanka in the Czech Republic who donated their time and creativity generously to ensure we captured all the fun and games of the day and night!
We look forward to getting your thoughts, ideas, feedback and contributions to what more you would like to see at our Congress in 2011.
Thank you again.
Warmest,
Christina Vaughan and Team CEPIC
