A presentation by Prof. Ben EDELMAN of Harvard University

The Internet makes it all too easy for content owners’ rights to be trampled through unauthorized reproduction. These intermediaries often build lucrative businesses on the basis of others’ content – presenting heightened concerns for those whose effort created the underlying materials. What can content providers do to protect themselves? Ben offers suggestions and a roadmap, placing special focus on defenses against Google.
