For meetings we provided 100 tables on one floor in the Havelock Area of the Aviva stadium. In addition, for the first time, CEPIC was offering the possibility of renting state-of-the-art Trade Stands. This year Internet was included in the table fee. Read more

Arrow has featured a number of demonstrations of its system for CEPIC members.
- On 03 May 2012, a meeting in Paris will bring "Work Package 6" (EVA and CEPIC members) together.
This is a preparatory meeting for the piloting of image data sources. Picture agencies (akg images berlin, akg images paris, bpk, mauritius images, photononstop, RMN), collecting societies (VG Bildkunst, DACS, Sofia, Copie France) but also TEL, Di-Tech and IFRRO are attending.

Those of you who are following the present turbulences at the AFP will love this site.
The Paris-based AFP has been criticized for distorting competition and being at the origin of the desmise of traditional press picture agencies, including SIPA Press. Acquirer of SIPA in July 2011, German DAPD, lodged a complait to the European Commission.

It is essential that CEPIC attends all of these meetings to be at the forefront of information regarding technological and legal advances. “George Mann: American Master” presents the work of George Mann, a star of the American vaudeville stage and a keen photographer. A number of events at the Frankfurt Bookfair will allow the picture business to stay in touch with the latest developments around the publishing market and the activity of trade associations.
- Special Area for Picture Agencies
Following the Center for Photography in 2009 and 2010, a special area in Hall 3.1 will be devoted to images businesses. BVPA (Hall 3.1 A 105) invites every day at 17.00 H to a Happy Hour.
Magazine PICTORIAL has established a list of picture related businesses exhibiting at the Fair, mostly in Hall 3.1 but also in Hall 4.1 and 8.0.

The picture collection of the Les Arts Décoratifs, Paris, brings together the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Museum of Fashion and Textiles and the Museum of Advertising which are housed in the Louvre, as well as the Musée Nissim de Camondo. The collection itself is staggering: jewellery, woodwork, furniture, ceramics, glass, plastics, textiles, embroidery, posters, wallpaper, paintings and drawing. 700,000 works from the Middle Ages to the present day illustrate all areas of the decorative arts in the most varied techniques.

Science Photo Library placed themselves ahead of the curve when they started collecting stock scientific footage from 2008.
