ByKaren SahoyI visited the Aviva Stadium yesterday. It will officially open this Friday and there is a real sense of excitement and anticipation. They are washing down the glass, buffing the stainless steel, cleaning the beer taps and mowing the pitch.
The Aviva is ready. The Aviva is finished. The Aviva is waiting to welcome the CEPIC delegates.
It actually felt like a privilege to be there. They even showed me the player changing rooms (which will be part of the Aviva delegate Tour on Thurs and Friday) and we walked out of the player entrance onto the pitch. It was really quite thrilling.

Using Metadata To Power Your Business
This half-day conference focused on business related best practices for using photo metadata. The results from a survey among photo businesses and their clients showed how metadata is used currently and what improvements are requested. The core of the Conference was an extensive "How To" session on applying metadata at different stages of photo workflows based on brand new IPTC metadata panels. The session included the first public presentation of a controlled vocabulary for images and other visual content, currently under development by an IPTC working group.

This year, we offered the possibility of renting 35 boxes in the Aviva Stadium, which were ideal for boardroom meetings, focus groups, seminars, training, interviews, press events, private dinner and lunch gatherings.
There were 3 different types of boxes - Box 12 (for up to 12 people), Box 24 (for up to 24) and Box 50 (for up to 50 people). For price information see the attachment below this article.
