Congress 2013 is going south to the sunshine! The largest and most international of industry conferences will be held in Barcelona , the capital of Catalonia in Spain from June 11th to 14th 2013.
We will be returning to Barcelona, last visited by CEPIC in June 2000, with the Annual Industry Congress scheduled to take place by the sea at Barcelona’s World Trade Centre from June 11th to 14th 2013 inclusive.

This year, the programme of the CEPIC Congress in Dublin was enhanced by the introduction of an extra day of Inspiration and Learning just before the actual Congress began.
New Ideas, New Speakers, New Subjects
The Conference was organised and moderated by the esteemed microstock and UGC presenter, Lee Torrens. This additional day of panels and discussion covered Microstock, Metadata, Stock Video, the use of New and Social Media as marketing tools as well as ideas on how to licence in an alternative way. The Panels addressed photographers and agencies, showing us a different perspective on the picture market.

CEPIC charges a VAT (value added tax) of 21% on all Congress invoices which can be claimed back from your national tax authorities under certain circumstances.
RULE
Art. 9. (2) c of the EU VIth Directive states that the place of supply, i.e. the place where the local VAT is to be applied, for conference organizers, such as CEPIC, it is the place where these events/services are physically carried out.
However, participants to the show are entitled to refund of the VAT under certain conditions:
- If your company is based within the EU, please do not forget to specify your EU VAT number.
- If your company is based outside the EU, please contact your tax consultant on the issue.

The party, which marks the end of the four day congress, will take place on Friday 14th June in Hotel W, an outstanding place with a terrace on the beach. Read more
