Mdina is the old
capital of Malta. It is a mediaval town with narrow streets and 300
inhabitants today, specially privatized for our event. It commends a
magnificent view on the island.
The present
mayor of Malta is the descendant of the mayor of Malta who called against
the French occupation on 2 September 1798.
Mr J. Desaunois, vice president of CEPIC and mayor of a small town in
France, offers him, as reconciliation 210 years after the insurrection, the
official scarf of French mayors.
