Tasks - CEPIC Committee - The CEPIC Administration How to contact CEPIC ?
Registered as an EEIG (Economic European Interest Group) in Paris in 1999 and achieving observer status at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) in 1997, CEPIC now represents 1,000 picture agencies and photo libraries in 18 countries across Europe, both within and outside the European Union. CEPIC's membership includes large and smaller stock photo libraries, major photo news agencies, art galleries and museums. It can be said that through its members and the more than 30,000 photographers represented thereby, CEPIC represents the interest of nearly 80% of the still image content industry in Europe. An estimated 85% of the membership is made up of sole traders. CEPIC was created to represent their interests.
Besides the annual international Congress, CEPIC publishes a regular Newsletter, a Directory of members (available from the CEPIC-Office), runs a member and a copyright internet forum. Members' press releases are published on the CEPIC website.

The CEPIC Committee has 7 members, presently of five different nationalities.
